Always follow the safety instructions supplied with the candle and refill. Stop burning the original candle when approximately 1cm of wax remains at the bottom of the container.

Allow the candle and container to cool completely before removing any remaining wax. Before inserting the refill, ensure that the container is empty, clean, completely dry and free from cracks or damage. Use only a refill designed to fit this candle container.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it away from children, pets, draughts and flammable materials. Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface and follow the burning-time and wick-trimming instructions shown on the candle label.

Warning:	There is a right way to burn a candle! • Always use a candleholder specifically designed for candle use. It should be heat resistant, sturdy, and large enough to contain any drips or melted wax. • The first step is to always trim the wick. +/- 6mm in length, every time you burn. • Trimmed wicks make for a cleaner burn with less smoky residue.You can use a plain old pair of scissors, nail clippers or you might want to invest in a wick trimmer. • Never leave a burning candle unattended. • Never burn a candle on or near anything that might catch fire. • Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets. • Don’t burn a candle all the way down. For a margin of safety, discontinue burning a candle when 1.2 cm remains in the container. • Extinguish a candle if the flame becomes too high or flickers repeatedly. Let the candle cool, trim the wick, and check for unwanted drafts before re-lighting. • Never use a candle as a night light or while you may fall asleep. •Do not burn for longer than four hours and cool for at least two hours before relighting. • Keep your hair and loose clothing away from the flame.
